Objectives of Project:
This project is funded by EXIM Bank of India with a total of 35 million USD; the Line of Credit was signed on 10th May 2018. The project has two phases i.e. Design phase and Construction phase. The design phase was completed by TATA Consulting Engineers (TCE) and phase two is in the process of tendering i.e. procuring of Project Management Consultant (PMC) and procuring of Contractor (EPC). The scope of the project includes three lots with 10 schemes;
Lot 1 - Kiwengwa Scheme
Lot 2 - Taifu Scheme, Konde Scheme, Gawani Scheme and Micheweni Scheme
Lot 3 - Matuleni Scheme, Mtambile Scheme, Kilindi Scheme, Wambaa Scheme, Vitongoji Scheme and ZAWA Pemba HQ
